Australian Open: Krawietz/Pütz in the quarter finals

Kevin Krawietz and Tim Pütz continue to show good form at the Australian Open. The duo defeated Marcelo Arevalo from El Salvador and Mate Pavic from Croatia 6:3, 6:3 on Sunday to reach the quarter finals. Even the short rain break before the second match point did not stop their run.

"A good tournament for us so far. We're playing at a good level and having fun with our team and our families here," reported Pütz. Their opponents in the quarter finals will be the Italians Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori.
