Basketball: Big points for BBC Coburg

BBC Coburg celebrated a deserved and unchallenged home win against Skyliners Frankfurt Juniors in the 2nd German Basketball League Pro B South on Sunday. The team of Head Coach Patrick Seidel defeated the club from Hesse by a surprisingly clear 87:65 and so remains in an excellent position in the playoff race.The visitors laid the foundation for their important victory in the first quarter with a 21:13 lead, which they defended until the break. The BBC went in at half-time with a 37:28 lead. The BBC maintained its lead after the break. The score was 61:51 after the third quarter and Lorber and his teammates stretched the lead to 87:65 by the end.

An away game against TEAM EHINGEN URSPRING is scheduled for next Saturday, March 16. Tip-off is at 6 p.m.
