Basketball Bundesliga: Bayreuth loses to ALBA Berlin

On the 13th matchday of the Basketball Bundesliga, Bayreuth hosted the reigning German champions ALBA Berlin. Until halftime, medi was within striking distance, but in the end lost clearly with 109:79.

Up to the break score of 46:54, medi bayreuth presented itself in a fighting and structured manner. After the change of ends, medi managed to take the lead thanks to a 10:0 run. However, with the injury of Bastian Doreth in the 26th minute of play, Bayreuth completely let the game slip away. From here on, ALBA dominated the game, scored 43:20 points until the final siren and in the end deserved and absolutely unchallenged victory with 109:79 in the Oberfrankenhalle.

After the game against EWE Baskets Oldenburg had to be postponed, the Bayreuth team has time to regenerate. On January 2, Head Coach Raoul Korner's team will face s.Oliver Würzburg. Jump in the s.Oliver Arena is at 15:00.
