Brose Motorsport at the Coburg Rally “Around the Long Mountains”

Michael Stoschek (Ahorn) and his co-pilot Dieter Hawranke (Kassel) lined up at the 18th Coburg Rally in their historical Group B Porsche SCRS. Two different timed stages, which had to be driven twice, were on the program for the 52 participants in total.

Since the Brose team’s Group B Porsche was not eligible to start in the main field in this rally, Stoschek/Hawranke drove the Coburg Rally as the pace car ahead of the pack.

The Porsche ran like clockwork – the unique boxer rumble sound whet the appetite for the rally action to follow and attuned to the spectators to the various categories. Since part of the route was over gravel, the Brose team completed the rally on gravel tires. As a result, Michael Stoschek was able to conjure up a spectacular drift on asphalt bends and inspire the onlookers.

The next outing is at the Vosges Rally in Molsheim, France, from August 22 through 24.
