Brose Motorsport at the Franconian Switzerland Rally in Hollfeld

Hollfeld, 10-13-2018

Michael Stoschek (Ahorn) and his co-pilot Dieter Hawranke (Kassel) lined up at the Franconian Switzerland Rally around Hollfeld in the historical BMW 2002. Four different timed stages, which had to be driven twice, were on the program. The Brose team took part as the pace car and so warmed up the spectators five minutes ahead of the main field. The participants in the 39th ADAC Stäubli Franconian Switzerland Rally also included the two Brose Motorsport pilots Dominik and Patrik Dinkel.

Michael Stoschek’s BMW ran like clockwork. Since some of the trials had a high proportion of gravel stretches, the Brose team used gravel tires on the rally’s first two trials. As a result, Michael Stoschek was able to conjure up a wonderful drift in the asphalt bends and not only inspire the spectators with the car’s sound.

At the end of the day of racing, the two Dinkel brothers each captured a place on the rostrum with their teams. The rally was won by the older brother Dominik Dinkel with his co-pilot Christina Fürst. Patrik captured second spot. So it was all in all an outstanding result for the Brose Motorsport team.

The next challenge for Michael Stoschek is at the Valpantena Rally in Verona from November 9 to 10.
