Brose supports Collegium Musicum

Shortly before the summer break, the Summer Concert of the Collegium Musicum Werdau was held in the Stadthalle Pleissental: An inspired orchestra and exceptional soloists presented “Mozart!”, a string of various works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The first part was dominated by symphonic works, such as the overture to the opera “La Clemenza di Tito,” as well as opera excerpts, performed by young soloists from the Robert Schumann Conservatory in Zwickau together with the Collegium Musicum.

The second part was dedicated to the “musical dialogue” between Elsa Maria Klockenbring and Josef Vlček, who played the “Sinfonia Concertante” with passion and brilliance.

A special surprise for everyone was the short address by Jörg Graichen, General Manager of Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH in Meerane, who praised the concerts of the Collegium Musicum Werdau as exceptional and enthralling. As support for the orchestra’s work, he had brought along a check, which he presented to the Artistic Director Professor Sandmann, who – visibly delighted at this token of appreciation – expressed his thanks on behalf of the Collegium Musicum Werdau.

The concert ended with long-lasting, enthusiastic applause.
