Christian Engelhart takes home a solid result from the DTM season opener

Christian Engelhart starts the new year with eight points at the DTM season opener. The Lamborghini works driver from Starnberg, together with his Grasser Racing team, finished eighth in an intense race at Oschersleben on Sunday. Christian already hinted at his potential for 2024 with seventh place in Saturday's qualifying.

Concentrated, with a clear focus on the front, the #63 started the race on Sunday and Christian was able to improve by a total of seven positions over the race distance. The Lamborghini driver consistently set the fastest race laps and underlined the value of his experience as a GT driver on his return to the Italian sports car manufacturer.

"I think we made a solid start to the new DTM season this weekend. We were among the top competitors both in qualifying on Saturday and in terms of race pace on Sunday. We now have to build on this in preparation for the second race weekend in Lausitz".
