ENBL: Bamberg Baskets’ Winning Streak Ends at Inter Bratislava

On the 4th matchday of the European North Basketball League, the Bamberg Baskets were unable to continue their winning streak. In their away game against Inter Bratislava, the Bamberg team lost 83-88 (41-53) on Wednesday evening in front of 1,847 spectators at the Gopass Arena.
Especially in the first half, the team from Freak City had significant problems with the agile and carefree Slovaks, who clearly won the rebound duel 43-33 and whose starting lineup ultimately scored 78 of the 88 points.
Due to a significant improvement in performance, Head Coach Anton Gavel’s team managed to keep the game open in the second half. However, in a turbulent final phase, Inter did not let the victory slip away, thanks to their scoring trio (Cousins and Gunn with 20 points each, Caruthers with 19 points). The top scorer for the Bamberg Baskets was Ronaldo Segu with 24 points.
On 16.11.2024, Bamberg will continue their away games against SYNTAINICS MBC.
