Kevin Krawietz is appointed as an Ambassador for the Coburger Land Region

2019 has been the best season so far for the tennis professional Kevin Krawietz together with his doubles partner Andreas Mies. He is currently 11th in the doubles world rankings. The 27-year-old has now been appointed as an Ambassador for the Coburger Land Region in the presence of Mayor Norbert Tessmer and District Administrator Sebastian Straubel. This honor has only been bestowed on five other people.

Even after his sensational doubles win in the 2019 French Open and reaching the semi-finals of the US Open in New York, Kevin Krawietz has remained grounded. He has also retained his ties with his home club, TS Weiß-Rot Coburg, to this day. Krawietz, who has been sponsored by Brose since he was 16, said at the ceremony: “I love my home. I’ll always represent it well all around the world.”
