Krawietz reaches second round of the German Pro Series

Kevin Krawietz has qualified for the second round of the DTB German Pro Series despite two defeats and just one win in the preliminary stage. Starting on Tuesday, the French Open winner joins battle with Maximilian Marterer, Julian Lenz and Peter Torebko for a place in the final.

The tennis professional, who is sponsored by Brose, is using the singles tournament to prepare for his international return to doubles action. According to the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), the season is expected to officially continue with the hard court tournament in Washington starting on August 14.
