Tennis: Krawietz and Pütz in Swiss Indoors semifinals

Kevin Krawietz and Tim Pütz move on to the next round of the Swiss Indoors in Basel after a solid quarterfinal match.

The duo was able to prevail over opponents Alex de Minaur and Max Purcell (Australia) early in the match. They took the lead with a fast break in the first set. Krawietz and Pütz won the first set after only 35 minutes.

They continued their success in the second set as well, winning the first game with an immediate break. The Germans won the other four service games with a strong performance.

After one hour and eleven minutes, it was finally clear: Krawietz and Pütz move effortlessly into the semifinals of the Swiss Indoors in Basel with a 6:3, 6:4 result. There they will meet Frenchman Edouard Roger-Vasselin and Mexican Santiago Gonzales on Saturday.
