Tennis: Krawietz/Pütz together at Monte Carlo Masters

Roquebrune-Cap-Martin , 04-09-2023

The tennis doubles team of Kevin Krawietz and Tim Pütz will play their matches together again from now on and have already claimed their first victory at the Masters tournament in Monte Carlo.

In their first match together after Tim Pütz's maternity leave, Krawietz/Pütz secured their place in the last 16 of the ATP 1000 clay-court tournament with an opening victory over Cameron Norrie/Ben Shelton (Great Britain/USA) 6:2, 6:3. The reunion of the German top doubles team was thus a resounding success. Krawietz had last played his tournaments with Frenchman Fabrice Martin.

In the round of 16 match on 12.04, the doubles Krawietz/Pütz will meet Rohan Bopanna/Matthew Ebden (India/Australia), who defeated Rafael Matos/David Vega Hernandez (Brazil/Spain) 3:6, 6:3, 10:8.
