Tiago Monteiro returns to the Honda Civic for an evaluation at Monza

For the first time since his accident in Barcelona last September, Tiago Monteiro took to the wheel of the Honda Civic in Monza this week. The purpose of the outing was for the Portuguese driver to carry out a physical and visual test. Tiago covered a dozen laps of the famous Italian circuit and completed the planned program.

"It's good to be back, despite all the precautions required at this stage," said Tiago Monteiro in the preamble, "I felt good physically, but I know I'm not 100 percent. I still have not fully recovered my vision. I will continue to work hard and carefully follow the recovery program set up by the doctors who look after me. For now, everything indicates that I should be fully recovered for the first race of the year."
