World Cultural Heritage Run: Brose boasts the largest number of entrants

Bamberg, 11-29-2018

Brose has lent its name to the 10.9 km run in Bamberg since 2005. And the number of its employees taking part has increased successively since then. A record number of them registered for the 4.4 km, 10.9 km and 21.1 km races in 2019. This year for the first time, Brose was the company with the largest number of entrants.

The World Cultural Heritage Run is more popular than ever: All the available places in the Brose run were booked out within 77 minutes of the registration portal opening.

111 Brose entrants lined up for the demanding half marathon, with its climb of 280 meters in altitude, and 136 competed over the 10.9 km run. The high ratio of participants over the long distances is testimony to the ambition, athletic standards and fine fitness of Brose’s employees. It is more than remarkable that a combined total of 96 percent of all entrants from Brose tackled the two long distances.
