Program 2025
After four year in a row, fifth Brose internship program starts in February 2025. More then 100 students have been part of our internship program since we started our business in Serbia and many of them our now engineers in R&D center and production area. Same as this year, we will have vacancies through entire year. We offer positions in various departments where students can get their first work experience at our location in Pancevo. With the Brose internship program, students can gain additional knowledge and skills through practical work in a technically and modern international environment.
Who are we looking for?
- Students in the final year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Faculty of Technical Sciences, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Faculty of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Electrical Engineering...)
- Students who have a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package and are fluent in English
- Students who wish to pursue a career in the automotive industry
What should you know?
- 3- or 6-months internship
- 40 hours per week
- Paid internship
- 10 vacation days and 5 additional days to align with university obligations

Nikola Zlatković - Test engineer
“I heard about Brose and its first internship program during a presentation of the company at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, and through the student group Beoavia we received an invitation to apply for vacancies."
"The application was soon followed by an interview with representatives from the HR department, then an interview with colleagues from Germany, and from November 2021 I was in Würzburg, at the Brose plant. The company organized everything related to accommodation and transport as well as the necessary documents for the internship in Germany.
I did my internship in the testing department, where I worked on testing drone motors used by one of the largest e-commerce platforms to deliver their shipments. I mainly worked on engine performance testing, load measurements, thermal mapping tests, testing of engine rotors, etc. The projects were very interesting and working with a customer like this was a real inspiration. During the internship, I had support from the mentor with whom I worked on these projects, but also from colleagues from Würzburg and other departments. I learned the most about acoustics, I had a lot of training on this topic, and I also gained experience with programs like Artemis, Robotech, etc.
Working at Brose has given me a lot of experience and new knowledge, but also the way of working in a global company, a sense of responsibility and many positive impressions of life in Germany."

„At the end of my third year at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, I attended a presentation by Brose and learned about the many opportunities and development perspectives offered by the student internship organized by Brose. After an interview with company representatives, in which I outlined my previous experience, knowledge and interests, we decided together that it would be very useful to gain my first experience in a six-month internship in Bamberg."
"During my internship, I worked on a project investigating the thermal properties of certain electronic components, i.e. analyzing the behavior of semiconductor components at high temperatures. I improved the existing algorithm and developed a user application in MATLAB to be used at Brose in the future. I implemented and improved the functionality of the algorithm, created the user interface of the application and learned how to operate the devices and machines used to collect measurement data in the company's laboratories in order to test and optimize the application.
What I liked most about the internship was that the concept was customized to the student and the actual needs of the company. The internship gave me the opportunity to get new technical and practical knowledge and experience and to improve my soft skills through numerous presentations of my work to colleagues. The great support of colleagues from Serbia and Germany meant a lot to me and was my support in overcoming all the challenges I faced during the internship. The team spirit at work was great and I felt part of the team from day one. In addition to the professional support, my colleagues introduced me to German culture, tradition, the beautiful city of Bamberg and other German cities through numerous trips."
