Your tasks

  • Independent development of difficult electrical and electronic circuits with a high novelty level as well as development of complex control units in consultation with the supervisor or an experienced hardware developer
  • Independently plans, processes, and documents all theoretical and practical investigations to secure the hardware.
  • Independent implementation of all necessary calculations and simulations on component and circuit level as well as general evaluation or, in the case of complex issues, in consultation with an experienced hardware developer
  • Representation of all circuit engineering issues in the application of safety engineering methods
  • Creation of hardware concepts and examination of all specification documents regarding feasibility and hardware costs and implementation of capacity and cost planning in consultation with the supervisor
  • Management of internal electronics development projects
  • Series projects: independently conducts reviews of simple to difficult circuits and related documents.
  • Defines design rules for circuit design in consultation with the supervisor.
  • Conducts market research on complex electrical and electronic components and evaluates their applicability.
  • Conducts benchmark studies and derives actions from them

Your Profile

  • A university degree with a regular study period of up to 4 years e.g., Electronic or EN&TC
  • 5 years in vehicle electronics development
  • Buck, Boost and Inverter
  • Understanding of EMI /EMC
  • Detailed understanding of MOSFETs, IGBTs etc.: Their parasitic components, losses, and selection criteria with waveforms. Snubber, boot strap etc.,
  • Simulations: ORCAD capture, LTspice, etc.
  • Microcontroller interfaces like EEPROMs, HSDs, LSDs, power supplies, SPI, I2C etc.
