- Define the specification and selection of the manufacture machines based on the strategic products, and daily maintenance
- Define the specifications and selection of the steels, hot runner system and other standard parts with cost competitively
- Make sure the tooling design with the robust structure, meanwhile economy and durability
- Responsible the tooling quotation and make sure the manufacture quality, timing planning and cost control, high effective communications with customer
- Responsible for the suppliers (technically) selection and management for the needed manufactures, meanwhile, to develop the suppliers to be more capable with our requirements
- Responsible the technical support or training for tool shops and production tools in Taicang or worldwide
- Providing proposals for the strategic direction of tool shop and contributing to other tooling related strategies
- Responsible for the planning of plastic tool shop and coordination of sub-plans (personnel, capacity, investment, material, costs)
- Implementation of all necessary measures and instructions for occupational safety, health, and environmental protection as well as responsibility for order and cleanliness
- Other tasks which assigned by top management
Your Profile
- Skillful operation with UG/PROE/Catia/Auto CAD cartographic and office software
- Rich experience in injection mold design, manufacture, fitting assembly, as well as common standards in automotive industry
- Familiar with the brand and performance of the steels, hot runners, and other standard parts
- Familiar with brand and perfomance of mold manufacture equipments
- Knowledge in resins and their properties (theoretical and practical)
- Experience in project management of injection molds
- Experience in tooling supplier developing and managing
- Experience in working in international/multinational teams
- Very good English skill both writing and speaking
