Project Engineer

Your tasks


  • Planning, steering and monitoring of all technical specification requierments in a development or application of a product in alignment with all involved functions,  the customer, as well as with different locations and suppliers according to PDP (CPM)
  • Systematic analyse, creation and implementation of technical measures in alignment with the functional teams (KS, SVS, QU, IE) according to the requirement within the project targeting the product competitiveness (cost & technic)
  • Defining and Maintaining the technical status of the product, e.g. DFMEA, creating BOMs (Pepsi), GECOS Change management, CRs/AEWUs internal and external
  • Sample steering for non productive Material (Customer Samples) in alingment with the change management in the project
  • Technical preparation and presentation of Brose's product portfolio at the customer including influencing and guiding customer in the direction of Brose Product strategy (Powerpoint, Visualisation tools, Flowcharts)
  • Gain market intelligence for the assinged customers product portfolio with benchmark function (GoBench, A2Mac1)
  • Secure the product development according to the product strategy & design to cost process (Cost Management, Decision making)
  • Engagement into problem analysing and solving including presenting engineering problem solving internal and external (PMP, system thinking, Powerpoint)
  • Steering customer specifications and technical chances and risks (CPM, Chances and Risk List, EAK)
