Your Tasks

  • Ensure development of electrical and electronic circuits considering timing, cost and quality
  • Independent development of complex electrical and electronic circuits with a high novelty level
  • Independently plans, processes and documents all theoretical and practical investigations to secure the hardware
  • Independent implementation of all necessary calculations and simulations on component and circuit level as well as evaluation and consulting of hardware developers
  • Representation of all circuit engineering issues in the application of safety engineering methods
  • Creation of hardware concepts and examination of all specification documents regarding feasibility and hardware costs and implementation of capacity and cost planning
  • Management of complex internal electronics development projects
  • Series projects: independently conducts reviews, releases hardware as well as related documents
  • Defines design rules for circuit design
  • Conducts market researches on complex electrical and electronic components and evaluates their applicability
  • Conducts benchmark studies and derives actions from them

Your Profile

  • A university degree with a regular study period of up to 4 years e.g. electrical engineering
  • 6 years in the area of vehicle electronics development
  • Profound knowledge of electrical and thermal circuit design and simulation
  • Profound knowledge of electronic components
  • Profound EMC knowledge
  • Knowledge of manufacturing technologies
  • Profound knowledge of development tools in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge in project management
