Head of Finance (m/f/d)

- As the Finance Manager for Brose Gothenburg, you will take full ownership of the site’s financial operations and act as a key partner in the local management team.
- Leading and developing the local finance organization (1 direct report).
- Providing reliable financial information and analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Coordinating and executing month-end and year-end closings in accordance with Swedish statutory requirements and the Brose IFRS Accounting Manual (BIAM).
- Performing analysis of assets, liabilities, capital, cash flow, and overall financial performance.
- Managing cash flow, liquidity planning, cost control, and budget approvals.
- Working closely with the Plant Manager on business development and financial steering.
- Preparing and submitting VAT and tax declarations, ensuring compliance with current Swedish regulations.
- Maintaining and ensuring accuracy within SAP FI and the general ledger.
- Continuously improving financial tools and processes to strengthen cost transparency.
- Ensuring strong internal controls, managing fraud risks, and implementing mitigating measures.
- Taking responsibility for cash-related decisions, tax planning, and signing annual accounts together with the Plant Manager.
Your Profile
- University degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in finance or controlling, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Documented expertise in SAP FI/CO.
- Strong knowledge of Swedish financial and tax regulations as well as IFRS-based reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial insights into actions.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); German language skills within controlling vocabulary are a strong advantage.
- A proactive, reliable, and structured professional with strong communication and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on in a dynamic plant environment.
