Material Planner

Your tasks

  • Order, maintain and manage stock levels as per SAP and build requirements
  • Plan production areas in order to meet customer requirements and shipments
  • Resolve errors within the system in order to maintain an accurate flow of information
  • Ensure customer schedules and overseas bookings are entered into the system
  • Ensure on-time deliveries to customers
  • Manage material issues in respect to modifications and vehicle changes to ensure that stock is minimized
  • Coordinate delivery of sufficient packaging in line with ideal stock levels
  • Undertake special projects and activities as required
  • Support engineering change process (GECOS)
  • Support and initiate cost savings and optimization activities

Your Profile

  • 4 year degree preferred, but will consider equivalent
  • 3 – 5 years experience in an automotive environment
  • SAP, Microsoft, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of planning an assembly operation
  • Knowledge of customer specific systems
