MKM-Design Engineer- Drives

Your tasks

  • To support MKM team for the preparation of 2D, 3D and Product development activities.
  • Creates/ develops/ realizes designs in CAD Models and Drawings within the agreed time (design and development of automotive components e.g., Motor, Motor Components, Motor Systems, etc.).
  • Creation of component designs, assembly drawings, single part drawings, Bill of materials in accordance with Brose standards and procedures.
  • To perform basic technical calculations (e.g. GD &T, Stack-up) and simulations (e.g. deformation, loading, kinematics, etc.).
  • Documentation and data management (3DX, SAP) of projects as per company standards.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and testing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
  • Feedback from customers, benchmarking, contacts from fairs, return of know-how from products in series production and assuring implementation in future developments Pursue “continuous improvement” through development of design/engineering applications.
  • Ensure compliance with Internal standards, industry standards and customer specifications.

Your Profile

  • Graduation in Mechanical or comparable disciplines with 1 to 3 years.
  • Basic knowledge of various CATIA V5 modules (i.e. Part design, drafting, Assy. etc).
  • Good Knowledge of Engineering Drawing of machine component and Assembly.
  • Good Understanding of GD & T.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process (I.e. Plastic injection molding, stamping).
  • Experience in the automotive industry or a related mechanical domain.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • VB knowledge is preferred for Catia Automations.
