Project Manager Development

Your tasks

  • Plan, manage, and coordinate series production and development projects including validation of product designs and engineering change management for mechatronic seat systems including seat structures, rail assemblies, manual unlocking devices, power center console mechanisms, to be produced at plants in U.S., Mexico, and Europe.
  • Plan and achieve project goals including capacity planning, project timing plans, project budgets (investment, development hours, prototypes), and equipment suppliers (production tools and assembly equipment), based on expected return on investment (ROI) and return on sales (ROS)) within scope of project request made to senior leadership in Germany.
  • Perform cost benefit analysis, analyze and approve “Make or Buy” activities to improve project direct material costs.
  • Prepare five-year business plan for investments at Brose production plants including seat structure assembly stations, fully automated assembly lines for mechanisms, and supplier production tooling for plastics injection molding parts, stamping parts, fine blanking parts, and cold forming parts, and fasteners.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related.
  • Thirty-six months’ experience as Engineer; Buyer; Project or Program Manager, or related, performing cost benefit analysis, analyzing “Make or Buy” activities to improve project direct material costs, and preparing five-year business plan for investments at plant including supplier production tooling for plastics injection molding parts, stamping parts, fine blanking parts, and cold forming parts, or related.
