Tolerance Simulation (3DCS) Engineer

- Perform Dimensional variation analysis in 3DCS & Enventive softwares for mechanisms, sub-systems and assemblies as per Brose standards. Deliver quality results in timely manner.
- Work on VSA/DVA workflow.
- Understand the scope of analysis & estimate the effort.
- Independent to study the drawings and understand the requirement to carry out the tolerance analysis in 3DCS software in accordance with Brose standards and procedures.
- Carry out DVA assembly modeling based on drawing fixture build plan.
- Carry out mathematical sensitivity validation of statistical results outcome.
- Carry out what If analysis.
- Evaluation of geometric factors for critical dimension in the assembly.
- Carry out 3D tolerance analysis and provide the results with in the specified time line.
- Take responsibility for the work done and results delivered.
- Good communication and network with teams.
- Very good attitude towards learning and supporting the organization.
- Improve work efficiency and more contribution to the organization.
- Considers the procedures ,job instructions and organizational instructions.
Your Profile
- B.E. Mechanical/Production/Automobile/Equivalent.
- Between 3 years to 5 years industry experience in GD&T, 3DCS/CETOL.
- Seats/ Latch mechanism/ Window regulator/automotive motors/ seating mechanisms/ jigs and fixtures/ quality gauges/consumer appliances/mechatronics applications/ engineering design based on tolerance/Engine and power train applications etc. (or) equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess hands on basic level experience in CATIA 3D modeling software.Hands on working experience from Automotive/manufacturing/process/Jigs and fixtures GD&T. Checking the assigned tolerances and recommending correct tolerances.
- Should be very good at reading 2D drawings and CAD data pertaining to specified tolerances.
- Must possess basic theoretical as well as practical aspects of GD&T and calculation of tolerances in 2D.
- Must possess basic engineering understanding and impact of tolerance values, stack-ups on the functionality.
- Should possess good verbal and written communication skills. Should demonstrate initiative and flexibility Basic professional skills for MS Office: Presentations, word and excel documentations.
- Should be able to work as an individual contributor as well as a cross functional team member.
