Kevin Krawietz is now the best German doubles player of all time, according to the tennis world rankings. In the current ranking, he is in fifth place, one spot better than Boris Becker and Udo Riglewski, who both reached sixth place.

Krawietz, who started playing tennis at the age of five, won the junior doubles competition at Wimbledon in 2009, together with Pierre-Hugues Herbert. The Frenchman also developed into a world-class doubles player in the men's category.

"Much cooler than the record of my singles ranking is that we now belong to the top four teams in the world," said Krawietz. He has been playing with Tim Pütz since the end of 2022.

In 2020, Krawietz worked in a supermarket in Munich during the pandemic, stocking shelves. At the first Grand Slam tournament of the year 2025 in Melbourne, he and Pütz reached the semifinals. There, they lost in the tiebreak of the third set to the eventual tournament winners Heliovaara/Patten.
