Small satellites
Our cooperation with Fraunhofer EMI combines industrial strength with research and technology expertise. Together, we develop and manufacture small satellites, including key components such as propulsion and stabilization systems.
Our goal is the rapid provision of cost-efficient satellites and subsystems from resilient, national supply chains for the creation of our own constellations. We are working to secure Europe's competitiveness and sovereignty in the space sector.
Satellite propulsion systems
We are combining our expertise with Berlin Space Consortium (BSC) to establish industrial series production of propulsion systems for small satellites. In doing so, we are laying the foundation for powerful and scalable propulsion solutions in the space industry.
Our goal is to research, develop, and produce satellite propulsion systems and their individual components based on the Hall effect thrusters developed by BSC for satellite buses weighing between 50 and 500 kg. Brose will establish and operate the industrial series production and the necessary test infrastructure.
