Brose Motorsport: 15th Rally Clásico Isla Mallorca

97 teams lined up for the Majorca Rally in the classes “Competición” and “Regularidad,” including many from Germany. Stoschek/Hawranke competing for Brose Motorsport started their first international rally with the 1973 Porsche 2.8 RSR, which Guido Brasch and his team rebuilt in 2018.

Over the three days, a total of 14 trials over 122 had to be driven in best time, with 543 kilometers linking them.

The strength of the field in the 15th Rally Clásico can be seen from the fact that Nadal Galiana and Michael Eschmann, who have won a string of titles in this rally over the previous years, finished in 5th and 7th. “So our 9th place overall and 4th place in our class with the new car were pretty decent,” said Michael Stoschek at the finish of the 3rd stage.

The next scheduled event is the Lavanttal Rally in Austria from April 5 to 6, 2019.
