Stoschek/Hawranke successful in Bremerhaven

Bremerhaven, 07-28-2019

Michael Stoschek (Ahorn) and co-pilot Dieter Hawranke (Kassel) started for Brose Motorsport in the double event of the fishing port sprint in Bremerhaven. Their NC 3 class car was a 1973 BMW 2002ti. A special stage was run as a circuit, with each sprint consisting of 4 x 3 laps, making a total of 28 km.

Some technical problems occurred shortly before the event, but they were solved in time, so the BMW, the oldest car in the field, completed the special stages without any problems.

At the first event Stoschek/Hawranke reached the third place from nine participants in the class – and they even achieved an excellent second place in the next event, although more modern vehicles had lined up with the BMW at the start of the sprint. In the group of historic Appendix K vehicles, the team achieved the group victory in each case.

At the award ceremony, the MC emphasized how well Michael Stoschek had handled drifts on the BMW.

Stoschek & Hawranke's next challenge is the Coburg Rally on August 10, 2019
