Tennis: French Open - Early exit for Krawietz/Mies

Paris, 05-25-2022

On Wednesday evening, Brose-backed tennis pro Kevin Krawietz and his doubles partner Andreas Mies failed in their opening match of the Grand Slam tournament. The German duo lost 4:6, 2:6 against the Finnish-British pair Harri Heliövaara/Lloyd Glasspool and were eliminated. For Krawietz and Mies, who have already won the French Open twice, this was the first defeat in Paris.

Heliövaara and Glasspool will now face Gonzalo Escobar/Ariel Behar in the second round. For Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies, on the other hand, it was a surprisingly short stay in France.

Now it's time to put this defeat behind them and focus on the next tournament, for which we wish them every success.
