Tennis: Krawietz and Pütz on China Tour

After their disappointing start at the China Tour in Beijing a week ago, where Kevin Krawietz and Tim Pütz were already eliminated in the first round, the two now showed better form at the Shanghai Masters and secured their place in the last 16.

In their match in Shanghai, they defeated Nikola Mektic from Croatia and John Peers from Australia 6:4, 4:6, 10:5.

On Monday afternoon, Krawietz/Pütz will continue with their round of 16 match against eighth seed Jean-Julien Rojer from the Netherlands and Marcel Arevalo from El Salvador.
