Brose-backed tennis pro Kevin Krawietz and his doubles partner Andreas Mies continue their winning streak on the ATP Tour. The German duo deservedly won 6:4, 6:4 against Joe Salisbury (Great Britain) and Rajeev Ram (USA) at the Mutua Madrid Open on Thursday.
During the entire match, the "Kramies" did not allow themselves a weak phase, only allowed their opponents two break opportunities and took advantage of the break points. Ram and Salisbury, on the other hand, did not come close to their performance limits during the entire match. Not only did the German duo show their best side on their own serve, Krawietz and Mies were also aggressive on returns, which was ultimately rewarded.
In the quarter-finals, which will take place on Friday, 6 May, at 4 pm, "Kramies" will meet John Isner (Great Britain) and Hubert Hurkacz (USA). We wish Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies every success!
