Hardware Engineer

Your Job Specification

  • Determination of functional and non-functional hardware requirements
  • Design of circuitry diagrams based on existing concepts
  • Generate appropriate hardware documentation. (e.g. EMC-Testplan)
  • Perform worst case calculation (thermal and electrical) for components
  • Perform electrical simulations of sub-circuits (e.g. with P-Spice)
  • Perform ESD-, EMC- and electrical tests at released test labs
  • Find root cause and countermeasure in case of deviations to the electrical specification

Your Profile

  • Qualified degree (e.g. in electrical engineering, communications engineering or information technology)
  • 3-5 years working experience
  • Experience in hardware development of embedded systems in the automotive industry
  • Familiar with circuitry diagrams for automotive comfort electronics
  • Experience with circuitry design tools and simulation tools (e.g. OrCAD; P-Spice)
