Brose Marco Seiler interview

Interview with Marco Seiler

During my time at school, I did a work placement as an industrial mechanic. I particularly liked turning and milling components. I then researched on the Internet, watched films on apprenticeship professions and finally found exactly the profession that revolved around these activities: cutting machine operator.

I wanted to learn this profession at Brose, a regional employer with a very good reputation, and I managed to get an apprenticeship place. After learning the basics of metalworking, I started working on conventional lathes and milling machines. I really enjoy operating CNC machines. I now use them to process orders for the Brose Junior Company. In this learning company, I gain great insights into real production and quickly get to know products: For example, I milled out oil pump housings that are needed in the factory. It's clear to me that I've made a hit with both the job and the company.
