Toolmaker (m/f/d) at Brose

The individual components of complex systems such as window regulators can only be manufactured in the required quantity and quality with the help of sophisticated precision tools. As a toolmaker (m/f/d), you are responsible for the development, production and maintenance of these tools.

Training period: three and a half years
Training location: Coburg
Vocational school location: Coburg or Würzburg, depending on the training location

Your apprenticeship contents

- Writing programmes for computer controlled machine tools
- Getting to know the materials: steel, aluminium, plastics, zinc alloys
- Machining methods: Milling, grinding, turning, profiling
- Surface treatments: Galvanising, painting

Your requirements

- Enthusiastic about technology
- Meticulous-Skilled craftsmanship
- Interest in designing things and in precision work
- Qualifying secondary school certificate or higher
