Your Job Specification
- Coordination and control of the development of standard components (also for safety-relevant assemblies) according to PEP and project management guidelines
- Consistent further development and standardization of existing components under technical, qualitative and cost-relevant aspects
- Collaboration in the analysis of cost development of components and derivation of measures for permanent cost reduction and their implementation according to specification
- Implementation of change management
- Responsible for compliance with the technical requirements of the standard components
- Introduction of improvements to current products (implementation of the findings from field surveys, series production and customer requirements)
- Implementation of patent and market analyses (benchmarking); evaluation of results and derivation of measures according to specifications
- Defining and releasing the contents of technical documents taking into account the results of the departments involved (e.g. testing, production planning) after consultation with the supervisor
- Coordinating the activities of external development partners / suppliers in consultation with the supervisor / project engineer / designer responsible for the project (task definition, quality assurance of results)
- Carrying out data exchange processes in accordance with the conventions to be observed (Brose, customer, supplier) and in consultation with the supervisor
Your Profile
- A technical university degree with a regular study period of 4 years or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired in another way
- 1-2 years of professional experience
- Knowledge of project management
- Knowledge of development methods (e.g. FMEA, tolerance calculation)
- Profound knowledge in plastic materials and process technology
- Knowledge of CAD and SAP
- Knowledge of form and position tolerance
- Fluent English language skills
