Your Tasks

Mentor and lead individuals within the AM/EK-A Organization
Provide leadership to the organization as a whole for department and/or personnel issues
Define headcount requirements; interviewing and hiring required personnel to make the NA Purchasing group a functional, value-added organization.
Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the procurement function.
Manage all aspects of the Buyers and Supplier Quality roles and responsibilities (target setting, acquisition support, concept phase, APQP, program management, sourcing, etc.).
Manages and monitors the North America procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements.
Through strategy review meeting, ensures Buyers maintain a supply base which provides high quality products and services at a competitive price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
Support the overall sourcing activities within the North American market alignment with global sourcing strategies.
