PLANT - Human Resources Manager

Your Tasks

  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Planning as it relates to budget (expenses), headcount, forecasting, etc.
  • Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures to deliver superior employee relations; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; manages benefit and leave administration.
  • Leads the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce. Manage temporary agencies.
  • Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Maintains organizational charts and employee picture directory.
  • Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Works with Supervisors to ensure appropriate training and development for hourly employees manage training center.
  • Champion for continuous improvement (BPS); expected to recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect our continuous improvement program.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic HR leadership role preferably in a manufacturing/production environment. HR related certification/degree or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environments preferred.
