Production Supervisor Trainee

The Production Supervisor Trainee will be given training and introduction to various aspects of production, manufacturing, and process systems. This role is designed to equip the trainee with the knowledge and tools to effectively manage, train and communicate data to management and assembly team.

Your Job Specification

  • Daily updates of KPI's including but not limited to: time & attendance, hourly trackers, shift reports, etc.
  • Hourly associate discipline and corrective action following process and procedures for documentation and reporting
  • Timely performance feedback to hourly associates regarding attendance and job performance
  • Develop and implement cross functional line/station training plan for hourly associates
  • Monitor daily performance to 5S principles and practices.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, training and mentoring
  • Meet annual goals and objectives identified for role
  • Engage in customer visits with and/or without the plant management
  • Planning of the yearly budget (staff, investments, costs) and responsible for the budget, definition of corrective actions by deviations in the yearly budget
  • Short term and midterm capacity planning (production space, staff and equipment)
  • Responsible for cost effective supervision of the team leaders and assembly operators
  • Leading the teamwork of the assembly operators (as the coach of the team, facilitator of the team meetings)
  • Responsible for meeting all procedures, job instructions and organization instructions in the work area as well as continuous improvement of the organization and processes in the production area

Your Profile

  • Bachelor degree
  • Technical knowledge and skills in mechanical engineering, electric, electronic, CNC, robot technique, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Experience in running highly automated production equipment
  • Independent decision making with high risks for the protection of the production process
  • Assertiveness, creativity, team work mentality, capable of setting priorities
