Quality Warranty Intern (Year-Round)

Your tasks

  • Utilizing customer databases, the Warranty Intern is responsible for pulling warranty data and compiling data into reports. This includes both time in service data as well as claim narratives where available.
  • Bench testing may be performed by the Warranty Intern to determine disposition of returned parts. If necessary, the Warranty Intern will coordinate additional laboratory testing, dimensional analysis or return to the manufacturing site.
  • As part of the data or parts analysis process, it may be necessary to call or visit dealerships.
  • Support corrective action activities and respond to customer portals within customer established deadlines.
  • Communicate monthly Warranty SharePoint reports including customer data and return analysis results to the relevant manufacturing locations.
  • Participate in the negotiation of Technical Factors with customers as needed for responsible projects/commodities.
  • Understand and communicate assigned customers warranty metrics and targets and their implications to Brose financial responsibility

Your Profile

  • Start Date - This position is planned to start November 1, 2025, or earlier depending on availability
  • In office at Auburn Hills location 3-4 days a week depending on school schedule
  • Must be currently attending a college or university (Graduation year of 2027 or later)
  • Able to work 20 hours per week on average during the school year/ flexible schedule
  • Able to work 30-40 hours per week on average during the summer/ flexible schedule
  • All engineering majors
  • Experience with excel
