SENIOR CLOUD PLATFORM ENGINEER (AWS & TERRAFORM)

Your Tasks
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Ensure security, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency across our cloud environments.
- Manage AWS services, networking, IAM, and infrastructure lifecycle processes.
- Develop automation solutions and operational tooling using Python and Bash.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure high service availability.
- Support AI and software engineering teams by providing robust and efficient cloud platform.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational standards.
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform and AWS.
- Proven experience with CI/CD systems, preferably GitLab CI.
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code, cloud architecture, and automation.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Terraform.
- Experience with cloud security, IAM, networking, and operational best practices.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and logging solutions.
- Experience with MLOps or AI workloads is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
- Confident use of AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices
