Senior Linux Administrator

Your tasks

  • Responsible for SUSE/Ubuntu/RedHat operating systems and their middleware, such as Apache, Tomcat, CUPS, Samba and NFS file services in a virtualized VMWare and Azure Cloud or container-based environment.
  • Solve tasks (incidents, change management, problem management in accordance with ITIL and internal company processes, root cause analysis) daily.
  • Implement improvements and suggestions related to system performance.
  • Solve requirements from internal customers (demands).
  • Plan Linux platform activity, ensure the quality of services and take about improvements in Linux service
  • Actively support and lead internal projects.

Your Profile

  • Experience as a Unix / Linux OS administrator.
  • VMWare knowledge.
  • Azure Cloud administration experience is welcome.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash / Python) is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL is welcome.
  • Knowledge of Salt Stack, “Git”, YAML is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of English.
  • Reliability, interest in your professional growth.
  • Communicativeness and organizational skills, team player.
  • Bachelor’s degree of computer science or first professional experience in the IT infrastructure sector
