Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering at Brose

Field of study:
Vehicle Systems Engineering

Mechanical engineering is a wide-ranging field of study in which each student has to decide on a specific specialisation at a defined point in time. As an automotive supplier, we need mechanical engineers and train them to become experts in complex vehicle system requirements.

Here you can find more information about the degree programme.

Your training and study contents

In addition to the basic studies in mechanical engineering, you will learn special skills in metal processing, control technology, technical presentation or CAD programmes in the practical part at one of our participating plants. At the beginning of the fifth semester, you enter the advanced study programme in vehicle systems engineering, while you are already working independently in engineering in the respective specialist function.

In line with the increasingly complex requirements of vehicle development, the degree programme combines teaching content from the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science. Students also receive instruction in vehicle technology, simulation techniques, computer-aided development tools and mechatronics, but also in economics and management.
