Tennis: Quarterfinal exit for Krawietz and Mies

Kevin Krawietz, tennis professional from Coburg and his double partner Andreas Mies from Cologne failed to make it to the semifinals of the Cincinnati Masters. The duo was defeated 3-6, 7-6 (7-2), 6-10 by Édouard Roger-Vasselin from France and Santiago González from Mexico in a hard-fought match on Friday evening (local time).

The focus of the German doubles team is therefore on the US Open, which starts on August 29.
