The German Davis Cup doubles team start the Grand Slam tournament in Wimbledon with a commanding 6:4, 6:2 victory over Brazil's Romboli and Italy's Darderi. The favourites hit top form on the English grass in the second set, after the first set was still competitive and a game lasted 15 minutes and went to deuce ten times.
