Patrik Dinkel Wins the Grabfeld Rally

Sulzdorf an der Lederhecke , 07-04-2026

At the 31st Janner-Waagen-Grabfeld Rally around Sulzdorf an der Lederhecke on July 4, 2026, Patrik Dinkel and Michael Teufel celebrated a convincing overall victory. Michael Stoschek put on a great show in his 1984 Porsche Belga, thrilling thousands of fans who had traveled to the circuit in Sulzfeld.

With start number 1, the Brose Mitsubishi Evo 9 RS led the high-caliber field of over 200 vehicles. After the first special stage, Dinkel/Teufel and Rudolf Reindl/Michael Ehrle in the Skoda Fabia R5 engaged in a close battle for the lead. At the halfway point, Dinkel and Teufel were in second place, 4.2 seconds behind, following a minor slip-up.

Before the new special stage “Althausen,” co-driver Michael Teufel was in a fighting mood: “Our strategy is clear—go all out.” On the 8.2-kilometer stage, the duo set the fastest time with a run of 5:09.9 minutes. Meanwhile, the leading Skoda team retired after sliding into a ditch.

With the fastest time on the final “Sulzdorf” circuit, Dinkel and Teufel further extended their lead and secured the overall victory with a 43.5-second advantage. Raphael Ramonat/Josephine Finger and John Macht/Tobias Glatzel rounded out a podium consisting entirely of Mitsubishi Evo cars.

“Winning here is something very special. My thanks go to all the sponsors, friends, and family members who support us. Without them, this wouldn’t be possible,” said a delighted Patrik Dinkel at the awards ceremony.

The next race is already scheduled for August 1 at the 17th Untergröninger Rally Sprint. Until then, the Mitsubishi will undergo routine inspections and be prepared for competition.
