Double Victory for the Dinkel Brothers: Strong Performance at the Fränkische Schweiz Rally

At the 45th ADAC Fränkische Schweiz Rally in Hollfeld, brothers Dominik and Patrik Dinkel celebrated an impressive one-two finish. After six challenging special stages, Dominik Dinkel, alongside co-driver Michael Teufel, took the win in a Renault Clio Rally3. Second place went to Patrik Dinkel and co-driver Cedrik Bächmann in the Mitsubishi Evo 9.

The historic rally pushed the teams to their limits on stages made even more difficult in some places by heavy rain. As early as the first special stage, the retirement of one of the favorites caused a stir, while the Dinkel brothers quickly took the lead.

Patrik Dinkel and Cedrik Bächmann steadily improved as the event progressed and capped off their strong performance with the fastest time on the final special stage. In addition to second place in the overall standings, they confidently secured the class victory in the NC1 category, which featured a strong field of 17 vehicles. Their lead over the competition was a substantial 1:24.8 minutes.

“That was a wild ride. We had a ton of fun in the car,” said a delighted Patrik Dinkel after crossing the finish line in front of the enthusiastic spectators in the packed Hollfeld town hall.

Following this successful performance, all eyes are now on the season finale: On October 31, Patrik Dinkel and Cedrik Bächmann will compete in the ADAC Haßberg Rally Sprint organized by AC Ebern.
