Krawietz wins in Marbella

Tennis professional Kevin Krawietz keeps on going from strength to strength. At the ATP Challenger tournament in Marbella, Spain, the 27-year-old and his partner Andreas Mies won the doubles, defeating their opponents in the final by 7:6 (8:6), 6:2 and 10:6. The victory means Kevin Krawietz has moved up into 50th in the doubles world rankings.
Next stop: Alicante
From Marbella, he continued on to Alicante for the first-round games in the Challenger tournament there on Tuesday. Krawietz was able to defeat the Brazilian player Thomaz Bellucci in the singles by 7:5 and 6:2 and meets Nikola Milojevic in the second round on Wednesday evening.
Shortly after his singles tie, the professional from Witzmannsberg teamed up with Mies for a doubles match, which the duo won against the Spaniard Javier Barranco Cosano and Italian Raul Brancaccio by 6:2 and 6:1.
