Patrik Dinkel/Felix Kießling win the 2019 ADAC Rally Masters

Freyung, 10-20-2019

Patrik Dinkel and co-pilot Felix Kießling impressed again with another solid performance in the finale of the German Rally Championship, the Three Towns Rally.

Second place in Division 2 was enough for the duo in their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9 to secure the title in the ADAC Rally Masters: “We’re over the moon at becoming champions in this rally on our home turf. The weekend could hardly have gone any better. We’re also happy with second place behind Ruben,” said Dinkel, who is sponsored by Brose, on the podium.

The race itself saw a brief duel with Ruben and Petra Zeltner (Lichtenstein – Porsche 996 GT3): Tire damage during the second trial meant Dinkel fell back to fourth at one point, but he fought his way back into second spot.

As a result, Patrik Dinkel and Felix Kießling have won the Rally Masters in the very first year of competing in it. That is a magnificent success in their first season together, in which they were on the podium in all races and were not forced to retire from a single one. Congratulations!
