Successful Season Finale for Patrik Dinkel

Patrik Dinkel and co-driver Anna Hinrichs concluded the 2024 season with an overall victory at the 6th Scheßlitz Rally Sprint in the Bamberg region.

The course in Scheßlitz features nearly 50 percent gravel, along with paved roads and beautiful asphalt sections – even a spectacular jump is included in the circuit near Ehrl.

In the Mitsubishi Evo from Team Macht Rallyetechnik, the duo set the pace from the start. However, their lead over their pursuers, Sebastian Schmidt and Nina Uttenreuther, was only 2.7 seconds in the first round. Dinkel and Hinrichs then went all out and rewarded themselves with a second best time and a 9-second lead by the end of the race.

The season’s overall balance is mixed. Alongside two overall victories, there were also setbacks to overcome. The victory at the season finale positively impacts their motivation for the upcoming 2025 season. In the coming weeks, they will work with sponsors to put together the program for next year.
