Brose-backed tennis pro Kevin Krawietz and his doubles partner Andreas Mies suffered a first round defeat in the sixteenth round of the ATP Masters in Monte-Carlo on Monday afternoon. Against the Americans Taylor Fritz and Sebastian Korda, the doubles team lost 3:6 and 5:7.
Fritz and Korda will now play Rohan Bopanna (India) and Jamie Murray (Great Britain) in the round of 16. For Krawietz and Mies, on the other hand, it was a short stay in Monaco.
The task now is to quickly put this defeat behind them. From 26 April, Krawietz and Mies will continue at the Madrid Masters, for which we wish the doubles team every success.
